“This Week at “Mid Century Modern” we filmed an episode I never thought we’d have to write — “Here’s to you Mrs Schneiderman” Saying goodbye to the character of Sybil was painful. Saying goodbye to Linda Lavin was heartbreaking,” Max captioned an Instagram post.
In the photos, it appears they are writing off her character as passing away, as the stars were seen wearing black suits.
They also honored Linda by placing flowers on her trailer door and on the steps. In addition, at the table read, they placed her cast chair to the side in her honor.
See Max‘s post below to see how they honored Linda on and off screen.
A release date for Mid-Century Modern has not yet been revealed, but it’s likely the series will premiere later this year.
Here’s a series synopsis: “The series follows three best friends — gay gentlemen of a certain age — who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one lives with his mother. As a chosen family, they prove that no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it would be better if you got your neck done.”
