JoJo Says Her Ex Cussed Her Out on the Street After Memoir Release

Joanna “JoJo” Levesque is opening up about her memoir.

The 34-year-old singer revealed she does not have any “regrets” after releasing her tell-all memoir, Over the Influence, but explained one incident that happened as a result.

“I did get cussed out in the street by an ex,” she said while promoting her new EP, NGL, in an interview with Us Weekly.

“He didn’t like the way that I … I don’t know. We didn’t even talk about it.”

JoJo did not name the ex she was referring to, but said it was “weird” to have a “man in his 40s telling me to F off. But you know what? We’re all on our own journey.”

“He told me to F off. And I was like, ‘Dang. That’s crazy.’ But I still said what I said, and I had to accept that not everybody was going to be happy about it,” she added.

In Over the Influence, JoJo recalled her unhealthy relationship with sex, drugs and alcohol, and wrote that she lost her virginity at age 14 to 16-year-old soccer player Freddy Adu.

She also opened up about what happened at Taylor Swift‘s Galentine’s Day party.
