Lady Gaga Premieres New Song Written With Special Collaborator at FireAid Benefit Concert

Lady Gaga surprised fans in the audience at the FireAid Benefit Concert with the gift of a meaningful new song, which she created with a special collaborator.

The 38-year-old Mayhem pop star was one of many musicians to take the stage during the concert, which raised funds for those impacted by the horrible fires that devastated Los Angeles this month.

During her set, she premiered a song that she wrote with fiancee Michael Polansky specifically for the event.

While sitting at the piano, Gaga spoke to the audience about how the song came together.

“Me and my friend Michael, my fiancee, my love, we wrote this song for you. It’s just for tonight. It’s just for you,” she said. “I think we all need a lot of things right now. But I think something we may also need is time. Time is a healer.”

Over a simple production, she sang, “All I need is time to heal my broken wings, and then I’ll soar / All I need is time to leave it all behind / All I need is time to leave it all behind and keep moving forward.”
