'Hurry Up Tomorrow' Movie Trailer: Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd) Loses His Mind & Unravels in New Film Inspired by His Music
The trailer for The Weeknd‘s upcoming movie Hurry Up Tomorrow has arrived!
The 34-year-old singer, who is credited with his real name Abel Tesfaye for the project, acts alongside movie stars Barry Keoghan and Jenna Ortega in the upcoming film.
In Hurry Up Tomorrow, a musician plagued by insomnia is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence.
The movie was directed and co-written by Trey Edward Shults, who is best known for his movies Waves and It Comes at Night. The psychological thriller will hit theaters on May 16.
Hurry Up Tomorrow is inspired by The Weeknd‘s music, including the new album that dropped last week. The album concludes a trilogy that started with 2020′s After Hours. He recently opened up about retiring his alter ego.
