Kris Jenner Reveals Shocking Connection to Menendez Brothers in 'The Kardashians' Season 6 Premiere

Kris Jenner is opening up about a surprise connection to the Menendez Brothers.

In the first 10 minutes of the season 6 premiere of The Kardashians, which was released on Thursday (February 6), Kim Kardashian brought up Ryan Murphy‘s second season of Monster, which focused on Erik and Lyle Menendez, who killed their parents back in 1989.

“Ryan Murphy told me that his new series, like how he did Dahmer, is now gonna be on the Menendez Brothers,” Kim, 44, said, as Kris, 69, revealed that she knew the brothers back in the ’80s.

“Oh, my God. You know I knew those guys in the ‘80s,” Kris said. “I knew the kids because Erik used to come over and play tennis with your dad on the weekends.”

Then in a confessional, Kim looked back at talking to her late dad Robert Kardashian Sr. about the Menendez Brothers‘ case when she was younger.

“I remember my dad talking about the case and I remember the whole case growing up in Beverly Hills, that’s where we were,” Kim shared. “The trial, I think, happened when I was, like, 13 so there were big cases that I would love to talk to my dad about. And so this was one of them.”

“Now, being older and seeing it from a different lens, 35 years later, and knowing what I know now about the system, I just have a whole different outlook on it,” she continued.

Shortly after season 2 of Monster was released, Kim visited with the Menendez Brothers in prison with one of the show’s stars and has advocated for them to be set free.
