Travis Kelce's Dad Ed Talks Taylor Swift's Football Knowledge, Recalls Time She Impressed Him & Makes Prediction About Their Relationship

Travis Kelce‘s dad Ed opened up about Taylor Swift and her relationship with his son.

The 35-year-old pop titan will be attending the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 9). This marks the second time that she’ll be at the big game since she and the Kansas City Chiefs star player started dating.

During an interview, Ed opened up about Taylor‘s football knowledge and recalled a time that she really impressed him.

He also made a prediction about Taylor and Travis‘ relationship.

While on Australia’s Today, Ed said that Taylor has made it her mission to learn as much about football as she could.

“She’s watching football whenever she can,” he said. In fact, the Kelce family patriarch even shared a time that she impressed him with the knowledge that she picked up.

He recalled, saying, “It was funny. We were sitting at a game and the Chiefs were in the red zone, and they had to go for a field goal. I’m sitting there thinking, ‘I hate field goals.’ And Taylor comes back and says, ‘I’ll take the points.’”

“And I’m thinking, ‘Look at you. A year ago, you didn’t know a field goal from an extra point and now you’re doing all this football talk.’ So I think she’s enjoying the game,” he said.

Ed described Taylor as “a very smart young lady” and said that she was “just a joy to be around.”

He also predicted that the couple have some good days ahead of them, especially after the season ends.

“I think it’s going to be a very good period of time for the two of them without the NFL season, without the Eras Tour. Just them alone, really connecting more. And I think that can only be a good thing,” he said.
