Ariana Grande Addresses Cynthia Erivo Secret Romance Rumors

Ariana Grande is addressing her closeness with her co-star, Cynthia Erivo.

The 31-year-old actress spoke out in an interview with THR about their bond, while also addressing speculation that the two are more than just passionate friends.

The two have spent much of their Wicked press cycle holding onto each other, crying together in character color-coordinated outfits, and getting very emotional, resulting in some speculation that there’s something more to their relationship.

“People think we’re secretly married,” she said, referring to “the Gelphie stuff,” otherwise known as the Glinda-Elphaba fan fiction and art dedicated to pairing the two characters together.

“I wish I could unsee some things. I mean, wow, I had a feeling, but I didn’t know it would be on this scale or this graphic,” she added.

She also addressed the rumor that the two would be opening the Oscars together this year.
