Nik Dodani & Brandon Flynn's Weekend With Their Parents Gets a Haunted Twist in 'The Parenting' Movie for Max
Max has announced the upcoming release of the “hilarious terrifying comedy” movie The Parenting and it features a star-studded cast!
Nik Dodani and Brandon Flynn star as young couple Rohan and Josh, who plan a perfect weekend getaway in the country to introduce their parents.
The parents are played by award-winning actors Brian Cox, Edie Falco, Lisa Kudrow, and Dean Norris!
As tensions begin to flare between the more traditional Sharon (Falco) and Frank (Cox) and the laid-back Liddy (Kudrow) and Cliff (Norris), the families soon realize that their rental – managed by eccentric local Brenda (Parker Posey) – is haunted by the presence of a 400-year-old poltergeist. When one parent becomes thoroughly possessed, it’s up to the young couple and their meddlesome BFF Sara to unite the families and stop the evil entity once and for all.
Vivian Bang rounds out the cast of the film, which was directed by Craig Johnson and written by Kent Sublette.
The Parenting will begin streaming on Max on Thursday, March 13.
