'Bachelor' Host Jesse Palmer Makes 1 Promise Regarding 'Bachelorette' Amid Show's Hiatus
Jesse Palmer is the host of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and other Bachelor Nation TV shows on ABC.
News spread last week that the fan favorite series would not be returning in its regular May/June timeslot this year, which caused many fans to wonder if the show might be on a permanent hiatus.

He made one promise: The Bachelorette is not going away for good.
“The good news is I know it’s not going away. I know it’s definitely coming back. Without being able to get into too much of the creative decisions on it, I know that when it does, I just think it’s going to be absolutely tremendous,” Jesse said on the “Playing the Field” podcast.
“I can’t get too far in depth with a lot of the creative decisions that went into that [decision.] I know it’s not unprecedented for The Bachelorette not to air in the summer,” he said, likely referring to some seasons having taken place in the Fall instead of the Summer.
He added, “I feel really really good with where the franchise is as a whole right now with The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette. There’s just so much that I think the franchise is offering in a variety and so much diversity in a lot of different ways.”
