Chase Infiniti Joins Cast of 'Handmaid's Tale' Sequel Series 'The Testaments' Alongside Ann Dowd
The Handmaid’s Tale sequel series The Testaments is one step closer to becoming a reality.
First teased in 2019, The Testaments will reinterpret author Margaret Atwood‘s novel of the same name. It is set 15 years after the events that unfold in The Handmaid’s Tale.
This week, there was a major update with the announcement that Chase Infiniti had joined the cast alongside Ann Dowd.

Deadline exclusively broke the news on Thursday (February 13), reporting that the casting announcement comes as Hulu prepares to greenlight the Testaments.
Chase is one of three stars from the series and will appear alongside Ann who will reprise her Handmaid’s Tale role Aunt Lydia Clements.
It is currently unclear if Elisabeth Moss will return for the series. However, the goal is reportedly to have her as a guest star.
The Handmaid’s Tale creator Bruce Miller will serve as showrunner of the new series.
Chase confirmed the news with a post on her Instagram story, where she wrote that she was “excited to join the cast of The Testament on Hulu!”
If all things go according to plan, the series could start filming in March. Production will take place in Toronto, Canada.
The Handmaid’s Tale will come to a conclusion this year with the sixth and final season. We just recently learned the premiere date and saw the first teaser.
