'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Star Mikayla Matthews Is Pregnant, Expecting 4th Child With Husband Jace

Another star from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is pregnant!

Mikayla Matthews announced on Thursday (February 20) that she is expecting her fourth child with her husband Jace Terry.

“Thought I’d finally announce the next step on my healing journey???? can’t wait to love on this baby???????????? #pregnant #pregnancyannouncement,” she captioned a set of photos on Instagram.

“It was definitely a surprise! We were not planning or trying. I miss my period a lot with my health issues, so for me it’s normal to sometimes be off track. Then a month and a half went by and I was telling my friends, like, ‘Maybe I should take a test,’” Mikayla told People. “I wasn’t having any symptoms which made me think I wasn’t pregnant, because I usually get symptoms very early, like two or three weeks in. Then I take the test and it was instantly positive.”

“With my health stuff, I didn’t think I could get pregnant right now,” she continued. “My husband was with me when I took the test. He never really has much of a reaction to anything, but we were both pretty in shock. Then it set in and we got really excited. We’re definitely excited, nervous about my health and possibly passing anything on, but excited.”

Mikayla also revealed to People that she and Jace told their three kids she was pregnant on the Hulu show!

“We waited until after my first ultrasound to tell them. We actually told them on the show, and they were so excited. They said Santa brought them a baby for Christmas. It was so sweet,” she said.

Mikayla and Jace are also parents to daughters Tommie, 3, and Haven, 5, and son Beckham, 7.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is set to return for a second season on Hulu later this year!
