Marvel Considering Second Seasons for 2 Disney+ Series (We Were Previously Told 1 of the Shows Would Not Continue!)
It looks like Marvel is considering developing a second season for two of their shows on Disney+.
The studio has famously treated most of their shows on the streaming platform as limited series that did not continue for a second season. Instead, they eyed spinoffs that continued to develop the Marvel Cinematic Universe at large.
However, the head of streaming, television, and animation at Marvel recently named two stories that they would like to continue telling with additional seasons. The news comes after we were told that one of the shows would not be continuing.

Brad Winderbaum told EW that the two series were Agatha All Along and Hawkeye. The former premiered in 2024 as a spinoff of WandaVision and continued Kathryn Hahn‘s story from the original. The latter arrived in 2021 starring Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld.
“A show like Agatha, to me, is concept based. Yes, a second season for sure is something that we would want to do, but let’s not rush it. Let’s get the right idea and then make it,” he said.
Notably, his update comes after series star Patti LuPone alleged that the show would not continue. She said that she had a conversation with creator Jac Schaeffer, who is uninterested in making second seasons.
Brad jokingly avoided responding to what Patti had to say, instead praising her for her performance.
As for Hawkeye, he said that the show is one that offers an opportunity to evolve.
“Hawkeye is another one that feels like you can make a second season of that show because it’s Christmas, because it’s Clint and Kate. You can kind of revisit it whenever, and we’re looking for opportunities to do that,” he said.
Moving forward, Brad added that Marvel would be designing shows that would be able to continue beyond the first season.
WandaVision is set to continue with another spinoff series that is currently titled Vision. Based on a recent casting announcement, fans think that it will also tie back to Agatha All Along.
