'Godzilla x Kong' Sequel Cast Updates: 1 Actor Returning, 3 New Stars Announced
A new movie in the Godzilla x Kong series is in the works and the cast is starting to shape up!
The movie will be the next installment of Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse franchise, which also includes 2014′s Godzilla, 2017′s Kong: Skull Island, 2019′s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 2021′s Godzilla vs. Kong and 2024′s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
The next installment will be directed by Grant Sputore, who previously directed the Netflix movie I Am Mother, and written by Dave Callaham, who is returning to the franchise after creating the story for 2014′s Godzilla.
THR reports that the story will feature “several new human characters alongside the beloved and iconic Titans Godzilla and Kong as they face off against a cataclysmic world-ending threat.”
