Jesy Nelson Reveals Pregnancy Complications With Twins Alongside Boyfriend Zion Foster

Jesy Nelson is sharing updates on her pregnancy alongside her boyfriend, Zion Foster.

The 33-year-old Little Mix alum and her 26-year-old musician boyfriend got candid in a video on Wednesday (March 5), revealing there are “complications” with their pregnancy.

The couple is expecting identical twins, but it hasn’t been easy.

Jesy went on to explain that the twins are monochorionic, diamniotic (MCDA), which is when each baby has its own amniotic sac, but they share a single placenta, according to Columbia University.

Jesy explained that “one baby might take all the nutrients” from the single placenta, or “the other might, which — really awful to say, but could lead to both babies dying.”

“And at the moment, I am currently pre-stage TTTS, which is twin-to-twin transfusion, and I’m being monitored very closely; have to go be scanned twice a week,” she continued.

“The common situation that we’re in at the moment is that every time I’ve gone, it’s got a little bit worse.”

In the meantime, the couple “are just hoping and praying for the best.”

“We feel so blessed that we’ve been given twins,” she said, tearing up.

“I’m just really sad that unfortunately, it [can] come with these complications, which we had no idea about. We honestly had no clue that this kind of thing [can happen] when you have twins.”

“We just really wanna raise awareness about this because there’s so many people that don’t know about this,” she said.

“So we feel it’s really important to share our journey with you guys and let [you] know what’s happening,” she added.

“But like I said, we are just hoping for the best, and we’re really fortunate that I am lucky enough to be scanned twice a week and we get to check on the babies.”

The two revealed the pregnancy in January 2025.
