Jesy Nelson Reveals She Needs to Undergo Procedure to Address Pregnancy Complications Endangering Her Twins
Jesy Nelson provided another update about her pregnancy.
The 33-year-old Little Mix alum announced that she and boyfriend Zion Foster were expecting twins in January 2025.
However, earlier this week she took to social media to reveal that she was experiencing some complications as her twins are monochorionic, diamniotic (MCDA), which is when each baby has its own amniotic sac, but they share a single placenta, according to Columbia University.
The singer said that she was under evaluation and was getting scans to ensure that the babies were safe. On Saturday (March 8), she took to social media to let fans know that she was undergoing a procedure to protect their health.

In a video on Instagram, Jesy told fans that she’d been “feeling a bit poorly the past few days” and was experiencing “a few of the symptoms I need to watch out for.”
“Today, we came into the hospital to have a checkup basically just in case, and unfortunately the symptoms have got worse,” she explained. “They have to perform the procedure, which is obviously not what we wanted to happen. But it’s necessary because it’s going to give our babies the best chance of surviving.”
Jesy said that she and Zion were “just hoping and praying for the best, really,” adding that she was “gutted” and had been “hoping that we wouldn’t even be in this position.”
“That’s why they do this procedure. So that it literally gives you the best chance of your babies surviving,” she said, getting teary eyed. “But it’s obviously just really scary because there’s so many things that can happen.”
We are thinking of Jesy and Zion and hope that everything goes well for them.
