Justin Bieber Issues Pointed Statement, Says 'We Don't Owe Anyone Anything'

Justin Bieber made a pointed statement on social media.

On Saturday (March 8), the 31-year-old “Peaches” hitmaker took to his Instagram story to share a message with his millions of followers. It comes a few weeks after he said that it was “time to grow up.”

“We have nothing to prove today. Just the gift of life today to accept and receive. Nothing is owed to us. And we don’t owe anyone anything,” Justin wrote.

His statement comes after a rep slammed rumors that Justin was using drugs and exhibiting “bizarre” behavior.

They said that the rumors are “exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

The rep added that the last year has been “very transformative for him as he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
