Mickey 17's Opening Weekend Box Office Numbers Revealed, Plus How Much the Movie Cost to Make & Market!
The opening weekend box office numbers for Robert Pattinson‘s newest movie, Mickey 17, have just dropped.
While Mickey 17 opened at number 1 at the U.S. box office, it roped in $19.1 million over opening weekend. It also earned $11.4 million in South Korea, and $53.3 million worldwide.
The film cost $118 million to make and another $80 million to market, according to Variety.

Mickey 17 is a sci-fi comedy that “follows [Robert Pattinson] as he plays multiple versions of the same character, an expendable worker who is able to be reprinted. He’s sent on a human expedition to colonize the inhospitable ice world known as Niflheim, where he perishes over and over and over again. Hell breaks loose when one of the Mickeys is presumed dead and a replacement duplicate tries to take his place.”
Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo also have roles in the film.
Mickey 17 is directed by Bong Joon-ho, the director of the critically-acclaimed 2019 film Parasite.
