Survivor's David Kinne Says His Girlfriend Will Only Stay With Him if He Wins $1 Million
David Kinne had an emotional moment on this week’s episode of Survivor when he opened up about his financial situation and how it’s affecting his relationship with his girlfriend.
The stunt performer revealed that he lives in a trailer “in front of my dad’s house.” While one fellow contestant said it was “sick,” he did not agree.
“No that’s not sick. Why would I want that? I think that’s pretty pathetic. It’s a very humbling experience,” David said.
David, who was 38 during filming, said that his girlfriend was 32 at the time and she wants to have four kids and be a stay-at-home mom.

“My dream is to start a family and I can’t do that right now because of my living situation, because of my financial situation,” David said. “She’s 32, I’m 38. She wants four kids. She wants to be a stay-at-home mom. I know she loves me. I know she wants to be with me, but she just has a huge doubt. She doesn’t know if we can make it work financially.”
“I only have a girlfriend if I win a million dollars,” he added. “Because she’s going to leave me if I don’t. She wants to be a stay-at-home mom. She’s 32 years old so she knows she’s running out of time. That’s a heavy subject for me, knowing that.
David says that his friends tell him not to be with her if all she cares about is money, but he says he “gets it. That’s a job to her, raising children. I take that very seriously.”
“There’s nothing more I want in this life than a family,” he said. “I’m fighting for a future family, absolutely. I’m here for the experience, more importantly, that million dollars, that’s a guarantee for me, to start a family. My ultimate dream.”
