Colman Domingo Reacts to 'Euphoria' Co-Star Eric Dane's ALS Diagnosis
Colman Domingo is reacting to his Euphoria co-star Eric Dane‘s ALS diagnosis.
Earlier this week, Eric, 52, he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease that often leads to muscle weakness and paralysis. ALS is also commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
In a new interview, Colman, 55, sent Eric some warm wishes.
Keep reading to find out more…“I haven’t been able to speak with him yet,” Colman told People on Friday (April 11). “I just got the news yesterday, too.”
“I’m wishing him well,” Colman added. “I look forward to working with him.”
There is no cure for ALS and while some patients can live for decades, most people usually live for three to five years after their diagnosis. The Mayo Clinic notes that ALS is “a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS causes loss of muscle control. The disease gets worse over time.”
