Selena Gomez goes business casual for a surprise appearance at the Rare Beauty 4th Annual Mental Health Summit held at Rolling Greens on Thursday (May 1) in Downtown Los Angeles.
The 32-year-old Rare Beauty founder spoke at the event, which was held on the first day of Mental Health Awareness Month, and brought out 175 thought leaders, beauty influencers, community members, Rare Impact College Ambassadors, and mental health advocates.
The day-long event was “dedicated to interactive conversations around the power of community, self-acceptance, and mental health.”

“The best reminder of why we do what we do @rarebeauty ???? I’m so happy I was able to surprise everyone at our fourth annual Mental Health Summit yesterday,” Selena shared on Instagram. “We heard from some of the brightest minds in mental health-from experts to members of our community. Bringing these people together under one roof is truly one of my favorite experiences every year. Thank you to my Rare Beauty team for all the incredible work you do, and thank you to our speakers.”
The next day, Selena and her fiancé Benny Blanco dropped the deluxe edition of their album, titled I Said I Love You First… And You Said It Back, which features eight more tracks, including a remix with GloRilla.
They also released the music video for “Talk,” one of the new tracks, where Benny gives Selena a full prom experience. Check out the video and album below!
