Russell Wilson is a true gentleman while arriving with wife Ciara at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 5) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The 36-year-old NFL quarterback made his Met debut this year, while the 39-year-old singer has attended several times in the past.
While on the carpet, the couple revealed how his new NFL deal made it possible for him to attend!

“Oh it’s amazing cause he can never do this. He’s normally on the west coast or like over that way,” Ciara dished to ET. “And so I said he went from the Met Life over to the Met tonight, so it’s pretty cool.”
“It’s amazing honestly, to be a New York Giant. I think we’re gonna have a great team. I’m excited about being in New York, and to be the first Black quarterback for the New York Giants is an honor,” Russell said at the Met Gala. “And also too, the second Black quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl, behind Doug Williams, is pretty special. To be here with her and share this night, is a special night!”
FYI: Ciara is wearing custom LaQuan Smith. Russell is wearing a handmade Tiger Stripe Jacquard dinner jacket in black designed by Frère.
