Minnie Driver Joins 'Emily in Paris' for Season 5, Character Details Revealed!

Minnie Driver is heading to Emily in Paris!

On Wednesday (May 14), it was revealed that the 55-year-old Oscar-nominated actress has joined the cast of the hit Netflix series led by Lily Collins for season 5, which is currently in production in Italy.

Keep reading to find out more…According to Variety, Minnie will be playing Princess Jane, described as “a friend of Sylvie’s (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) who married into a royal family.”

Minnie also confirmed her role on Instagram, writing, “I am BEYOND thrilled to be joining this sensational cast and show.”

Season five of Emily in Paris expected to take place just after the end of season four. The cast will begin filming in Rome, before heading back to Paris for the latter portion of the filming timeframe.

This actress shocked fans by announcing that she will not be returning for the new season.
