Why the Indianapolis Colts Removed Their 'Minecraft' NFL Schedule Release Video & Issued a Public Apology to Tyreek Hill
The NFL released its full 2025-2026 football schedule for all 32 teams this week, and as is tradition, each of the teams released lighthearted videos to celebrate.
This year, the New York Giants did a Love Island parody while the Atlanta Falcons did a fun Mario Kart homage. Other videos included the Baltimore Ravens’ Severance-themed video and the Kansas City Chiefs’ Cash Cab remake.
The Indianapolis Colts created a Minecraft world for their schedule release video, but shortly after it went live, fans noticed it was taken down.
Now, the Colts have released a statement explaining why.

Many realized that, in the Colts video, a Miami Dolphin, dressed in wide receiver Tyreek Hill‘s jersey number, was seemingly portrayed as being detained by a Coast Guard. This was viewed as insensitive, as just last year, Tyreek was pulled over by police on the Dolphins’ very first game day and dragged out of the car in a shocking video.
The Colts said in a statement, via Pro Football Talk, “We removed our schedule release video because it exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip involving Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek.”
NFL insider Adam Schefter added, “Colts reached out to agent Drew Rosenhaus to pass along their apologies to his client Tyreek Hill over their schedule release video.”
