Clay Aiken Says Kelly Clarkson 'Cured' Him of 'Intense' Organization Obsession by Rearranging His Refrigerator
Kelly Clarkson is poking fun at Clay Aiken‘s cleanliness habits in the kitchen.
On a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 43-year-old singer revealed that she once played a sly prank on the fellow American Idol alum after observing his meticulous refrigerator system.
“I had a friend who I used to mess with. He looked like a serial killer with his refrigerator. I went to his house, and I was like, ‘The hell?’ He had everything so and just to f— with him, I moved everything around,” she said.
“And it did mess him up. But It did look like a serial killer lived there, how his refrigerator looked! I like things tidy, but everything had to be certain,” she added.
Clay, 46, later responded to the story in good humor, saying that her re-arranging helped change his ways.

“It’s true. I used to be a bit intense about the organization of my precious perishables. Thankfully, my dear friend, Kelly, helped cure me of this obsession by regularly breaking into my house while I was out of town and completely dismantling my fridge organization system,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
“Thanks to her (less than legal) efforts, I’m happy to say I’m cured, and my fridge today looks like an episode of Hoarders. I didn’t even realize excessive kitchen organization was a gateway to serial killing, just think of how many lives Kelly may have saved,” he added.
Last month, Kelly addressed the speculation that she wants to quit her talk show.
