Pedro Pascal Lookalike Contest Winner Receives Nod From Pedro Himself

Pedro Pascal is giving a shoutout to his lookalike contest winner.

On Sunday (June 15), a Pedro Pascal lookalike contest was held in New York City. The Daily Show lighting designer George Gountas was declared the winner, beating out over 30 contestants. For his prize, he took home $50 and free burritos for a year from Mexican restaurant Son Del North.

That day, Pubity took to Instagram to share photos of lookalike George, to which Pedro responded in the comments with a happy-crying and heart emoji.

George, 42, later gave an interview about his victory, saying that the comparisons started when Pedro starred in Game of Thrones in 2014.

“I look more like [Pedro] than I look like my own brother,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
