'Gen V' Season 3? Renewal Status Revealed for Prime Video TV Show

Gen V Season 2 is coming to an end!

The Prime Video spin-off of The Boys follows the first generation of superheroes to know that their super powers are from Compound V.

In Season 2′s penultimate episode, Marie and Cate secretly break into Cipher’s house, while Polarity is shaken, but he now knows Cipher’s true motives.

Of course, fans are curious to know if the show will extend into a third season.

As of right now, Gen V has not been renewed for Season 3 or canceled.

Showrunner and creator Michele Fazekas recently addressed a potential Season 3 in an interview.

“I think there is any number of ways you could do a third season. Our task here was launching into The Boys, which doesn’t really mean that there wouldn’t be another season of Gen V. That’s what’s great about a college show —everyone’s always going to college! But our task was launch us into the new season of The Boys,” the showrunner said to Variety.

The Boys is set to end with Season 5, so it’s unclear what the future will be for Gen V. Here’s why The Boys is ending.
