Bette Midler Reveals She Has Read a 'Brilliant' Script for 'Hocus Pocus 3'!

Bette Midler is sharing a new update on the status of a third Hocus Pocus movie!

The 79-year-old actress reprised her role as Winifred Sanderson in Hocus Pocus 2, which was released on Disney+ in 2022, nearly 30 years after the original.

Several months after the sequel came out, it was revealed that Disney was already working on a third movie, and there have been small updates here and there since.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live recently, Bette revealed she’s read a script!

“Well, you know, they sent a script, and a lot of it was brilliant,” she shared. “So I got very excited, and now we’re trying to figure out what it is and where it’s going to be and how much it’s going to cost and all those logistical things.”

The last update was over the summer from Sarah Jessica Parker, on the same talk show, where she just said that they would like to do it.

The screenwriter of Hocus Pocus 2 is set to also work on the upcoming third installment, and previously, she revealed that they “have so many directions in which to go.” Find out what else she teased!
