Prince Andrew Alleged Leaked Emails Being Investigated After Virginia Giuffre's Death

Prince Andrew‘s alleged inquiries about Virginia Giuffre are under investigation.

The 65-year-old royal is “actively” being looked into by police, according to a new report.

The cops are trying to look into allegations the Andrew attempted to uncover information about the late woman, who died at 41 due to suicide back in April after accusing him of sexual assault.

The leaked emails were sent before a photo him and a then-underage Virginia surfaced in 2011. The messages suggested that Andrew asked his police protection officer to look into acquiring info about Virginia over a decade ago, even supplying her social security number, according to BBC.

The Sunday Telegraph reported that “palace staff may also face questions over knowledge of efforts to dig up dirt on Epstein victim.”

“We are aware of media reporting and are actively looking into the claims made,” a police spokesperson told People.

Energy Secretary Ed Miliband appeared on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg on Sunday (October 19) and called the leaked emails “deeply concerning,” as it is “absolutely not the way that close protection officers should be used,” the BBC also reported.

In 2021, Virginia sued Prince Andrew for sexual assault and claimed he raped her when she was part of late Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring at 17. The suit was settled a year later.

The news comes after Andrew gave up all of his royal titles recently.
