Country music singer Maggie Baugh has been painted as the “other woman” in the divorce of superstars Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, but a friend of the rising star insists the rumors are not true.

Maggie has played guitar on the tour with Keith and speculation went wild after he changed a song lyric to include her name, just days before news of his divorce from Nicole.

“How Do We Go” singer Alexandra Kay denies that Maggie is involved with Keith.

“I know that’s absolutely not true,” Alexandra told Taste of Country. “Honestly, I was heartbroken for them because the media scrutiny is insane and the things that people say… They’re like, stirring up rumors about Maggie Baugh, and I’m like, ‘She’s a good friend of mine.’”

“I’ve met her boyfriend, and she’s very happy, and she has nothing to do with that whole [Nicole and Keith] relationship,” she added.

Maggie recently returned to social media amid all of the buzz.
