NASA Responds After Kim Kardashian Says 1969 Moon Landing Was Fake
NASA is entering the conversation.
During the new episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian told All’s Fair co-star Sarah Paulson that she believes the moon landing was fake.
Back in 1969 on Apollo 11, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins became the first humans on the moon.
Keep reading to find out more…“I think it was fake,” Kim, 46, said in the episode, before claiming, “I’ve seen a few videos [of] Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn’t happen. He says it all the time now, in interviews.”
She then went on to share the reasons why she believes in the conspiracy so adamantly.
“Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn’t happen? There’s no gravity on the moon — why is the flag blowing?” Kim questioned. “The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon [have] a different [foot]print than the photos. Why are there no stars?”
After Kim‘s comments went viral, NASA acting Administrator Sean Duffy took to X, formerly Twitter, to reassure the reality star that Americans really did walk on the moon.
“Yes, @KimKardashian, we’ve been to the Moon before… 6 times!” Sean Duffy tweeted. “And even better: @NASAArtemis is going back under the leadership of @POTUS. We won the last space race and we will win this one too ????????????”
Kim recently shared an update on her brain aneurysm.
