Hallmark's Paul Campbell Reveals 'Cases of Mystery Lane' Series Is Canceled, Launching Petition to Bring It Back

Paul Campbell has bad news for Hallmark Channel fans – his The Cases of Mystery Lane movie series has been canceled.

The 46-year-old actor starred opposite Aimee Garcia as Alden and Birdie Case in two movies for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The Cases of Mystery Lane was released in 2023 followed by The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death Is Listening in 2024.

Paul revealed that despite the cancellation, he’s “still on the case.”

“Show may be cancelled, but he’s still on the Case… IYKYK,” Paul wrote on Instagram with the below photo.

Aimee commented, “Haha love this!!! Miss ya Paul. Hope to see ya soon ????????‍♀️????????‍♂️.”

Fans launched a petition on Change.org to “bring back” the series to Hallmark Channel, with Paul resharing a bunch of fans who posted about it. Even Tyler Hynes signed the petition and shared it with his followers!

“The removal of The Cases of Mystery Lane from Hallmark Channel’s programming has left a void in our mystery-loving hearts. The clever scripts, complete with the show’s signature nerdy puns, offered a unique twist on the classic mystery genre – something that is sorely missing right now,” fans wrote in the petition.
