Flavor Flav Accidentally Gives Alix Earle Wrong Score on 'DWTS,' Blocks Her from Perfect 40 for Second Week in a Row
Alix Earle has come so close to a perfect score for two weeks in a row on Dancing With the Stars!
The 24-year-old content creator and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy have been top contenders during this year’s season 34, and their scores keep getting higher.
During this week’s “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night,” the dancing pair performed a Paso Doble to “Livin’ On a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.

Following their routine, the main judges raved about the dance number, with Bruno Tonioli calling Alix a “Paso Doble bombshell,” and telling Val to “be careful, she’s almost too hot to handle!”
Carrie Ann Inaba said she set the standard for the dance style and noted she was “in it to win it,” while Derek Hough called her a “Rock and Roll goddess,” calling the routing amazing.
While the main three judges gave Alix and Val all 10s, guest judge Flavor Flav gave her a 9.
Following the show, Flavor took to Twitter/X to share that he actually meant to give her a 10!
“As a judge on #DWTS,,, you hit your score on a computer first,,, then hold up the sign. I accidentally hit 9 for someone and told the crew I meant to hit 10,,, and they said they can’t change it and there’s nothing I can do. That girl deserved perfect 10s,” the rapper shared.
The week before, the main judges also gave Alix and Val all 10s, while guest judge Cheryl Burke gave them a 9. This caused Alix’s stepmom to slam the former DWTS pro, and eventually apologizing.
After last week’s dance, Alix reacted to the near perfect score, telling GMA, “That doesn’t feel real, for sure… After a long, tiresome, hard week, it was really, really nice to just see that from the judges… I was jumping for joy when we got those scores.”
Alix and Val are not the only ones who have come close to a perfect score. Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, and Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa also received 39s on “Halloween Night.”
