Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone & Cole Escola Are Working on a Miss Piggy Movie (& Jennifer Almost Starred in 'Oh Mary!)

Jennifer Lawrence has something exciting coming!

The 35-year-old Hunger Games alum made an appearance on Las Culturistas, out now.

During the conversation, she revealed that Oh Mary! Tony Award-winning star Cole Escola and Emma Stone are working on a Miss Piggy movie with her, and she might also star.

“I don’t know if I can announce this, but I’m just going to. Emma Stone and I are producing a Miss Piggy movie and Cole [Escola] is writing it,” she said.

Jennifer also added that she was contacted to star as Mary Todd Lincoln in Cole‘s hit Broadway show Oh Mary!, but could not do it because of scheduling conflicts.

She didn’t provide any further details on her upcoming Muppets-related project, but also addressed some other speculation, confirming that the rumor she was starring in a remake of Death Becomes Her isn’t true.

“No, that was just like fan casting. It would be great. I would love to. I mean, I would be there,” she said. Listen above!
