Chrishell Stause Fires Back at Emma Hernan's Explanation for Boyfriend Blake Davis' Alleged Behavior
Emma Hernan weighed in on the situation with her boyfriend Blake Davis and her former bestie Chrishell Stause…and Chrishell is firing back as well.
In season nine of Selling Sunset, viewers saw the formerly very close friends drift apart, and it all stems from Emma‘s relationship Blake.
Last week, Chrishell explained some of the origins of her falling out with Emma, saying about her partnership, “In the beginning, he was nice to me. He just would say these extremely problematic things. I have a deep core issue with people who think that way, so it was upsetting. Even though he was being nice, he compared people being nonbinary to mental illness. That’s my partner, whom I love dearly.” Chrishell‘s spouse G Flip uses them/them pronouns.
Now, Emma is explaining her side of things.

Emma told Us Weekly, “He did not say that pronouns are dumb. He would never say that. He accidentally said ‘wife.’ He did say ‘they’ earlier in the conversation.”
She continued, “He was trying to be good. This was also 2 years ago. And then he said ‘wife’…I corrected him. I’m super sensitive about the situation.”
“He said ‘My bad, my bad. I’m from the south, we really don’t do that there,” Emma recounted.
Chrishell responded to this interview on her Instagram Story, writing, “This is NOT what was said. But good job Emma in flaming the hate for my partner and their preferred pronoun use. I have never gotten mad if someone politely got G‘s pronouns wrong. It happens all the time and I gently correct and we move on. I will wait to see what airs on the reunion before fully responding. But since filming the reunion his own very hateful posts on his IG story against LGBTQ community speak volumes on who to believe here.” She then included examples of his Instagram Story posts, which have him commenting on a Barbie doll’s weight and wheelchair use, him doing a lewd sexual gesture with Emma‘s head, and more.
