'Therapuss' Host Jake Shane Lands New Hulu Comedy Based On His Life
Jake Shane is set to lead his own TV series!
The 26-year-old “Therapuss” podcast host was just announced to star in and executive produce a new comedy show for Hulu based on his life, Variety reports.

Being developed at Disney-owned 20th Television, Jake will star as a version of himself, with the series following “his best friends as they navigate the chaotic new world of online fame, the strain it puts on their friendships, and the tension their presence causes in their suburban neighborhood.”
The Other Two writer and Hacks producer Genevieve Aniello will executive produce and write the pilot, with Paul Briganti directing and executive producing.
This will mark a reunion for Jake and Genevieve, after his recurring guest star role on Hacks‘ most recent fourth season.
