Amy Poehler Steps Out for Very Rare Date Night with Boyfriend Joel Lovell in West Hollywood!

Amy Poehler is enjoying a very night out with her boyfriend!

The 54-year-old Parks & Rec actress kept close to Joel Lovell as they left celeb hotspot Sushi Park on Tuesday night (November 4) in West Hollywood, Calif.

For their date night, Amy wore a denim short and red pants while the podcast editor sported a blue button-down shirt and black pants.

People confirmed in October 2024 that Amy and Joel were dating, with a source revealing that they began dating over the summer. They made their red carpet debut at the 2025 Oscars earlier this year.

Joel was previously deputy editor at The New York Times Magazine, but left the position in 2014 and transitioned into podcasting. He currently works as executive editor at Pineapple Street Studios.

Amy and Joel’s relationship comes nearly 10 years after she and ex-husband Will Arnett divorced in 2016 after 13 years of marriage. They share sons Archie, 16, and Abel, 14.
