Tori Spelling Recalls Awkward Halloween Run-In With Kim Kardashian, Says Her Bodyguard Shut Down Attempt to Reconnect
Tori Spelling is recounting a little awkward moment she had on Halloween night when trying to chat with Kim Kardashian.
During her Wednesday (November 7) episode of her misSPELLING podcast, Tori shared that she happened to spot the reality star while trick-or-treating in the Hidden Hills neighborhood in Calif.

According to the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, Kim‘s bodyguard prevented her from approaching (via Page Six).
“I’m really good at clocking people, so out of the corner of my eye, without letting her know I’m looking at her, I can see that she [is] look[ing] at me,” Tori said on the episode.
At one point, the Skims founder reportedly said something to a person she was with and they both looked at Tori.
“I’m like, ‘Oh, Kim sees I’m here, I know Kim’s here,’ and I’m like, ‘I haven’t seen her in so long. God, it would be good to reconnect,’” she shared.
She claims they’ve known each other a long time because Kim was close to Tori‘s brother Randy Spelling and Kim would often be at their home.
But Tori said she ended up being too “nervous” to actually go up to Kim at that point. Later, she reconnected into her friend Jessica Simpson, and that gave her the courage to try talking to The Kardashians star again.
However, when she did try to get Kim‘s attention, she claims her bodyguard came “out of nowhere and boom, [there's] an arm blocking” her and saying, “Excuse me, no.”
Tori wanted to challenge him but instead chose not to.
“I felt so shamed,” she shared. “My heart dropped into my feet, and I was like, ‘I’m never saying hi to anyone again.’”
She was quick to clarify that Kim hadn’t actually heard her and her bodyguard didn’t know who she was and was just doing his job.
According to Page Six, “a source claims that Kardashian and her family were in a golf cart while out and they never ran into Spelling.”
Even though the Kim reunion didn’t work out, Tori did have a cute reunion with one of her 90210 co-stars earlier this year!
