Brooks Nader Confirms She's Single After Rumors She's Dating Dakota Mortensen Surface: 'I'm a Free Bird'

Brooks Nader is clearing up the rumors that she might be dating The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Dakota Mortensen—Taylor Frankie Paul‘s ex.

The rumors started when Brooks and Dakota were seen on-camera chatting (and maybe flirting) with one another at the Secret Lives season 3 premiere at The Plaza Hotel on Wednesday (November 12).

Actually, the video in question was posted by Brooks‘ sister, Grace Ann Nader! She posted it on TikTok and captioned it “I’m sensing a MESSY crossover.”

But the Love Thy Nader star confirmed to E! News that nothing is happening between her and Dakota.

“I don’t know how it stirred into this whole thing,” she told the outlet. “I was having a conversation with a cutie. I don’t even know who he is.”

“They’re part of our Hulu family so we went to support,” she said, “but I had met him for the first time. He was so nice, but I’m single as can be. I’m a free bird.”

Brooks and her husband of six years, Billy Haire, separated in 2024 and their divorce was finalized earlier this year.

Nina Dobrev‘s ex Shaun White was also spotted chatting with Brooks recently.
