Latin Singer DELAROSA Dead at 22 After 'Ambush-Style' Shooting in LA

Tragic news today as it was revealed that singer DELAROSA was shot dead in Los Angeles.

Maria De La Rosa, a 22-year-old singer who performed under the stage name DELAROSA, was killed in the Northridge neighborhood.

According to LAPD, the young artist was sitting in a parked vehicle when two men ran up and fired multiple rounds in an “ambush-style” attack. DELAROSA was rushed to a local hospital, where she was sadly pronounced dead.

“Witnesses described seeing two male suspects approach a vehicle that was parked on Bryant Street,” police said in a statement issued Monday morning, via KTLA-5. “Multiple rounds were fired at several victims who were parked in the area in their vehicle.”

Two other victims who were in the car are currently listed in critical condition, their identities are unknown. The singer had recently released her track “No Me Llames” in August. Police are currently investigating the motive behind the shooting.
