'When Calls the Heart' Gets Season 13 Premiere Date on Hallmark Channel

Hallmark Channel has announced big news for fans of the long-running series When Calls the Heart!

The 13th season of the series will premiere on Sunday, January 4.

Erin Krakow and guest stars Brooke Shields and Melissa Gilbert announced the news in a video shared to the Hallmark social media pages.

“Guess who’s coming back to Hope Valley?” Melissa asked the viewers before Brooke chimed in to add, “It’s me! I’m so excited to be returning to When Calls the Heart.”

Kevin McGarry and Jack Wagner are also confirmed to return for the next season, which wrapped production on October 28.

While aboard the Hallmark Christmas Cruise earlier this month, Kevin teased what’s to come in the next season.

“There’s an event that happens at the beginning of season 13 that kind of shatters Hope Valley and the surrounding area and kind of sets off a journey for every character that’ll run the entire season,” he said. “We ended season 12 with Nathan and Elizabeth and Little Jack and Allie all leaving Hope Valley, so we have to bring them back into the town.”
