Lucy Hale Marks 4 Years of Sobriety with Inspiring Message

Lucy Hale is celebrating a major milestone in her sobriety journey.

On Friday (January 2), the 36-year-old Pretty Little Liars actress took to Instagram to announce that she is four years sober while sharing an inspiring messages with those who may be struggling.

Keep reading to find out more…“4 years ago, I reached a very dark chapter and my personal rock bottom,” Lucy began. “It’s wild to say, but that ended up being the greatest gift and biggest turning point in my life.”

“The path hasn’t always been smooth,” she admitted. “There’s been pain, discomfort, loneliness, and deep self-confrontation. But sobriety handed me back my life. I am deeply grateful for every single moment that has brought me to this point.”

Lucy continued, “If you’re struggling, please know this: there is always a chance to begin again. Keep going. Keep speaking your truth. Ask for help. And remember that are so worthy of a life you’re proud of. Your existence matters, and so does the story you carry. It DOES get better ❤️”

“I’ve realized that darkness isn’t always something to fear,” she concluded. “It’s often the very thing that leads us toward the light.”

Since deciding to get sober in 2022, Lucy has been very open about her struggles with alcohol addiction. In an interview from 2024, she revealed what has been the “biggest gift” from her journey.
