There’s an update on Tom Brady and Alix Earle amid reports that they were seen flirting over the New Year’s holiday in St. Barts.

In a video, the 25-year-old influencer was seen with her hand on the 48-year-old Super Bowl winning quarterback’s back, whispering into his ear. This, of course, sparked some romance rumors.

Now, TMZ was able to do some digging and got the truth.

The site reported: “the moment was nothing more than drunk, flirty fun at the party. We’re told Tom and Alix talked, danced, and flirted on the dance floor, and that’s where it ended. No hookup, no late-night rendezvous. In fact, we’re told it was the first time they had ever met.”

Tom and Alix‘s headline-making connection came less than a month after it was revealed that she broke up with boyfriend, NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios, after two years of dating.

Tom and Braxton, 30, actually were briefly on the New England Patriots together when Braxton was drafted to the team in 2018. However, he never played in any games as he was placed on injured reserve very early in the season.

Tom was previously linked to supermodel Irina Shayk, whom he reportedly dated on and off following his divorce from Gisele Bundchen.
