'Heated Rivalry' Fans Slam Golden Globes for Cringeworthy UFC Promo While Introducing Hudson Williams & Connor Storrie to Stage
Fans of Heated Rivalry are not happy with how the Golden Globes used actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie to promote UFC.
The rising stars were presenters at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday (January 11) at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Hudson and Connor made their first major awards show appearance after their meteoric rise to fame and the Globes joked that the actors needed extra security because of their popularity.
Cue the UFC stars.

Paramount+ is now the streaming home of UFC and the event brought out fighters Brian Ortega and Mackenzie Dern to act as Hudson and Connor‘s “security guards.”
The announcer said, “Our next presenters are so hot right now, they get mobbed everywhere they go, so we had to bring in some extra security from the UFC.” The fighters then walked on stage and circled around without saying anything before Hudson and Connor made their entrances.
