In the official obituary, which was shared with Just Jared, Catherine‘s team revealed that her family is planning a private event instead of a public funeral.

“A private celebration of life will be held by the family,” the obituary states.

Catherine is survived by her husband Bo Welch and their sons, Matthew and Luke.

“Prolific multi-award-winning actress, writer, and comedian Catherine O’Hara died today at her home in Los Angeles following a brief illness,” the obituary said.
