What Did Billie Eilish Say at Grammys 2026? Winner Gets Silenced During Speech for Song of the Year
Billie Eilish got bleeped by the CBS censors during her acceptance speech at the Grammys while calling out ICE.
The 24-year-old singer, who is now a 10-time Grammy winner, won the award for Song of the Year at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 1) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Billie and her brother Finneas O’Connell accepted the award for the song “Wildflower” from her album Hit Me Hard and Soft.
“Thank you so much. I can’t believe this. Everyone else in this category is so amazing. I love you so much,” Billie said while beginning her speech. “I feel so honored every time I get to be in this room.”
Billie then used her platform to speak out against ICE.

She continued, “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land. And, yeah, it’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I feel really hopeful in this room, and I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter. F–k ICE. That’s all I’m going to say. Sorry. Thank you so much.”
The “F–k ICE” moment was silenced by the censors.
Billie was joined by her boyfriend, a popular former Nickelodeon actor, inside the arena.
