Kathryn Hahn Confirms She's Playing Mother Gothel in 'Tangled' with Instagram Name Change & a Fun 'OOTD'

It looks like Kathryn Hahn is officially confirming those Mother Gothel rumors!

Kathryn updated her Instagram name to be “motherhahn,” and her bio now reads, “mother knows best ????.”

She included a mirror emoji, which is a key element in the Tangled story.

It’s not exactly a surprise: Kathryn was in talks for the role back in January.

Disney’s X/Twitter account posted the change to their X account to tease the news.

She then posted a video showing her wearing a t-shirt, confirming the news!

“OOTD, Mother Gothel,” she captioned the video.

The Tangled live action movie will also stars Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, respectively.
