Benito Mussolini's Granddaughter Alessandra Mussolini to Compete On Italian Version of 'Celebrity Big Brother'
Controversial public figure Alessandra Mussolini is set to compete on the next season of Celebrity Big Brother in Italy, aka Grande Fratello VIP.
The 63-year-old granddaughter of former Italian dictator Benito Mussolini will be one of the 16 celebrity houseguests on the upcoming eighth season, airing on Canale 5, marking the first time a prominent Italian politician has appeared on a reality show, per Variety.

Other Italian celebs to appear on the season include Adriana Volpe, Dario Cassini, Ibiza Altea, Marco Berry, Raul Dumitras and more.
Much like her grandfather, Alessandra has had quite a controversial career, also stepping into politics and previously served as a member of the Italian Parliament and the European Parliament.
In addition to her political career, Alessandra has appeared in dozens of movies, released a pop music album and competed on the Italian version of Dancing With the Stars.
Grande Fratello VIP, aka Celebrity Big Brother, is set to debut on March 17th in Italy, airing on Canale 5.
