OKLAHOMA CITY, Ok (KFOR) -- As the temperatures warm up from the bitter cold we saw a few weeks ago, Oklahoma City is still dealing with the aftermath. Last week, the Utilities Department reported that from January 13 through 22, there were 86 water main breaks and emergency repairs.
That number has now gone up after the latest update on Friday.
Now, they're reporting a total of 190 leaks or breaks in the system as of January 26 at 6:30am.
They said that number reflects the total of high and low priority maintenance repairs.
The Utilities Department said as of Friday, there are repairs needing to be made for 65 water main breaks or leaks, 63 public service lines, 23 meter leaks, 22 fire hydrants, and 15 valves.
OKC Utilities posted on social media with a statement about the repairs.
Our line maintenance division is busier than usual, which has slowed our response time to make repairs. However, crews have managed to repair all the highest-priority breaks and leaks each day, and we are tremendously thankful for the entire division.

The department said they're continuing to make repairs and hope to address the lower priority repairs soon as the warmer temperatures are coming in.
In the social media post, the department also said they're hiring for the line maintenance division and the Utilities Department.
