Police arrest one person, searching for another after SW OKC robbery
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — One person has been arrested after a woman was hit in the head with a gun during a robbery in southwest Oklahoma City. The other robbery suspect is still on the run.
Oklahoma City Police responded to an assault and battery call on November 4 at the Biltmore Hotel.
Surveillance video released by police shows the suspects standing in the gas station parking lot before the alleged assault.
The victim told officers she was meeting her child's father outside the hotel when she heard a man ask her child's father a question.
Court documents explain when she responded, one of the men said "I wasn't talking to you." Moments later, she said one of the suspects, Kaiser Odom, hit her on the head with a gun.
At the same time, the documents said the other suspect started fighting with the male victim over a gun.
The affidavit says the woman started to pick up one of the suspects' jacket and other items in an attempt to get him to leave. While giving the items back, court papers say the suspect stole her cell phone.
In the surveillance video, the suspects can be seen running back to the car then speeding away.
Odom was arrested on Tuesday and is facing robbery charges. Oklahoma City Police are still looking for the other suspect.
