Nexstar and Texas Rangers partner to air games on KAUT CW43
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Nexstar Media Group announced on Wednesday that an agreement with the Texas Rangers has been made to televise four spring training games and at least 15 regular season games during the 2025 baseball season.
The regular-season games will air on KAUT-TV CW43 including other Nexstar-owned and partner television stations in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
“We are extremely pleased to be bringing Rangers baseball to the best fans in the country, and to have KDAF/CW33 serving as the flagship station for Rangers broadcasts in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area,” said Andrew Alford, president of Nexstar’s broadcasting division. “Securing 15 regular season games and four spring training games for broadcast on free over-the-air television is a clear demonstration of Nexstar’s commitment to serving our local communities with high-quality live sports and entertainment programming.”
The first regular-season game that will air on Nexstar's stations is against the Boston Red Sox on Friday, March 28.
The full schedule of televised games will be announced at a later time.
